Includes large die sunk proof of 1d Black (origin unknown), HANDWRITTEN & SIGNED LETTER FROM ROWLAND HILL dated Oct 19, 1866, used singles (x5, mixed margins with either red or black Maltese Cross cancels), two single franked covers with one forwarded from Edinburgh to Helensburgh (red PAID date cancel and due mark "1"), double franked cover bearing red "Tarrow Penny Post" handstamp and a pair franking (3 margins).
