Great Britain. Half Laurel, ND. S- 2641A. James I, 1603-1625. Third coinage. Mint mark lis. Obverse, detailed laureate draped bust of king left, X (10 Shillings) behind head. Reverse; Crowned quartered shield of arms. A crisply struck coin with a superb portrait. The Half Laurel is usually more difficult to find than the larger Laurel. Struck in the last couple of years of this reign. PCGS graded MS-62. Estimate Value $3,000 - 3,500
