Thraco-Macedonian Region, Siris. Silver Stater (9.64 g), ca. 525-480 BC. Nude ithyphallic satyr standing right, grasping hand of nymph fleeing right; around, three pellets (off flan). Reverse: Rough incuse square divided diagonally. HPM pl. VIII, 3 (Lete); SNG ANS 953 (same). Very Rare. Lightly toned and lightly porous. Excellent detail present. Extremely Fine.
