Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III, the Great, 336-323 BC. Silver Tetradrachm (16.68g). Uncertain eastern mint, c. 325-300 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin headdress. Reverse: AΛEΞANΔPOY, Zeus seated left on high-backed throne, right leg drawn back, holding eagle in right hand and verticle scepter in left, torch in left field, [B]AΣIΛEΩΣ in exergue. Price 4001.
