Charioteer driving walking quadriga to right, large wreath above Reverse ΓEΛAΣ, forepart of man-faced bull (river god Gelas) in kneeling-running stance right. Jenkins Group VIII, 475. HGC 2, 351 (obverse) / 354 (reverse, same die). A splendid example, well centered and deeply struck from dies of sensitive style, particularly so on the reverse (man-headed bull). Pleasing antique medium gray toning. Extremely Fine. Estimate Value $4,000 - UP
