1870-S. NGC graded AU-55. Mostly untoned with a nice, natural appearance. A scarce date with a scant 17,000 struck. From that beginning, time and attrition have taken a mighy toll. Today it is estimated by CoinFacts that only 85 pieces exist. And this is one of the finer examples. A great looking coin and a true rarity that any collector will long appreciate. Pop 16; 3 in 58.
