Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 104

Lot 1937

1803, 3 over 2. PCGS graded MS-61. Well struck and a nice example. Very clear overdate coin. Both sides offer clean surfaces with ample luster to please the eye. The reverse has attractive orange-gold hues. Scarce and popular as these early gold coins present a bargain compared with many more common issues of this era in United States coinage. Now would be a great time to start a collection of these historic and interesting pieces. Pop 20; Just graded for the first time. (PCGS # 8084) Estimate Value $10,000 - 11,000

Realized $10,500
