Lot 178
1857 C-1 R2 NGC graded MS64 Brown. Frosty medium olive brown and chocolate with a few tiny peeps of faded mint red showing on both sides. The notable marks are few tiny ticks on the chin, a spot of fine carbon in the dentils right of star 13, and a tiny speck of carbon under the end of the wreath stem. Nicely struck except for the leaf under T in CENT, which is a bit weak. MDS. Our grade is MS60+. The attribution is noted on the NGC label. Estimate Value $450 - UP
