1857 C-1 R2 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. PCGS graded MS-63 Brown. Frosty steel and olive brown with lustrous mellowing mint red covering 15% of the obverse and nearly half of the reverse. Just a few spots of darker toning from choice. The notable spots are a reddish chocolate one on the lower part of the neck and a smaller olive one in the field at the tip of the nose. Nicely struck MDS. The fine die lines at S-OF-AM are gone. Our grade is MS62+, very close to the PCGS grade of MS63. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label (PCGS # 35339) Estimate Value $500 - UP
