1889. PCGS graded Proof 66. Beautiful blue, lilac and rose toning on both sides, well balanced and pleasing to the eye. Proofs for the Morgan dollar series are scarce, issue in low numbers, and many were mishandled. Hence a really splendid one like this draws a lot of well deserved attention. Only 811 proofs struck.
