1849 C-1 R2- NGC graded MS65 Brown. Very attractive frosty medium brown and light chocolate. Peeps of mint red remain visible on the obverse and this piece has excellent eye appeal. The best identifying mark is a microscopic pinprick under star 2. Sharply struck EDS, Manley state 1.0. All the fine die lines are sharp and doubling shows on portions of the date and many of the stars (from die bounce or shift, not a doubled die). Our grade is MS62. Estimate Value $1,000 - UP
