1828 C-3 R1 13-Star Obverse PCI graded MS66 Brown. Lustrous medium brown and steel with a puff of slightly darker olive brown toning on the face. Satiny mint frost covers this piece and the only notable mark is a tiny planchet flake at the right top of the center dot on the reverse (as struck). M-LDS, Manley state 3.0. Fine die clashmarks show on both sides and the spike from the leaf over H in HALF is short but sharp. Our grade is MS60+. Estimate Value $500 - UP
