1828 C-3 R1 13-Star Obverse PCGS graded MS63 Brown, CAC Approved. PCGS graded MS-63 Brown. Attractive lustrous bluish steel and light olive brown with traces of mellowed mint red on both sides, especially on the reverse. No spots or stains, only microscopic contact marks of no consequence. A small planchet flake under the left side of the H in HALF (as struck) is the best identifying mark. M-LDS, Manley state 3.0. The spike from the leaf tip over the H in HALF is short but still sharp and die clashmarks show on both sides. Our grade is MS62. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label (PCGS # 35261) Estimate Value $500 - UP
