Lot 1367

1818. PCGS graded MS-63. B-2. Boldly struck with nice, light, even gold toning on both sides. This is an early die state for this variety, with a thin die crack present above Liberty's cap. The stars and curls on Liberty are pleasing and offer both a crisp strike combined with clean surfaces. Similar on the revese where the eagle's wings show full feather definition. Scarce when found this nice, and always in demand from type, date, and variety collectors. A very nice looking coin that will appeal to any numismatist. Pop 27; 74 finer at PCGS. (PCGS # 5322) Estimate Value $5,000 - 5,500
