Lot 135

1825 C-2 R1 PCGS graded AU58. PCGS graded AU-58. Frosty olive brown and steel. Satiny mint luster covers the protected areas and the eye appeal is excellent. Just a hint of friction on the highest points of the devices from mint state. The notable marks are a small puff of slightly lighter reddish steel brown toning between stars 5 & 6 and a very fine planchet lamination from star 7 down to the rim just left of the date. The lamination has the look of a faint die crack and it is invisible to the unaided eye. LDS, Manley state 3.0. The end of the wreath stem is gone due to excessive die lapping. Our grade is consistent with the PCGS grade. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label (PCGS # 35249) Estimate Value $700 - UP
Ex Tom Reynolds 7/29/2005-The Green Tree Collection.

Realized $600
