1825 C-2 R1 PCGS graded AU58. PCGS graded AU-58. Frosty olive brown and steel. Satiny mint luster covers the protected areas and the eye appeal is excellent. Just a hint of friction on the highest points of the devices from mint state. The notable marks are a small puff of slightly lighter reddish steel brown toning between stars 5 & 6 and a very fine planchet lamination from star 7 down to the rim just left of the date. The lamination has the look of a faint die crack and it is invisible to the unaided eye. LDS, Manley state 3.0. The end of the wreath stem is gone due to excessive die lapping.
