Lot 129

1811 C-2 R3 PCGS graded XF45. PCGS graded EF-45. Attractive glossy medium olive brown and chocolate. The surfaces are smooth and the eye appeal is excellent for the grade. The only mark is a rim nick over the first A in AMERICA. M-LDS, Manley state 3.0 early, with die clashmarks on the obverse and a fine die crack through OF to the dentils midway to the adjacent A. A nice example of a date that is tough to find in high grade. Our grade is VF30. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label (PCGS # 35242) Estimate Value $3,000 - UP
From the Green Tree Collection.

Realized $3,960
