1863. NGC graded Proof 68 PQ. CAC. Toned with beautiful antique gold with a splash of blue on the obverse, the reverse matching in color. Vibrant reflectivity in the fields. The surfaces are absolutely pristine, with no signs of handling to be found. The devices are frosty. This sole example is the finest graded by NGC of this date, and tops the best seen by PCGS by 2 grade points. A powerful example of this low mintage date, and certainly the Finest Known.
