1809/6 C-5 R1 Overdate 9 over 6 or Inverted 9 NGC graded MS64 Brown. Lustrous steel brown and chocolate with peeps of golden tan in a few of the protected areas. Most of the planchet is lustrous and quite attractive, but there is some extremely fine roughness at stars 11-13 into the lowest curls, and the toning in that area is slightly darker. No marks or other defects. LDS, Manley state 3.0. The undertype 6 (or inverted 9) is still clearly visible. Our grade is MS60. The attribution is noted on the NGC label. Estimate Value $1,000 - UP
