1794 C-3a R5 Small Edge Letters AG3+. Sharpness near VG8 but fine to moderate granularity covers all but the highpoints, which are smooth. No verdigris, and the only marks are a very light rim bruise over the R in LIBERTY and a slightly stronger one over the U in UNITED. Olive brown and steel with lighter steel brown toning on the devices. MDS, Manley state 1.0, before the minor bulge right of the date. The date is weak but readable with some effort and the legends are complete. Weight 87.3 grains. Estimate Value $300 - UP
