1794 S-62 R4+ PCGS graded VF35. Glossy light to medium steel brown with frosty lighter brown and tan in protected areas on both sides. Smooth and quite attractive showing only trivial marks and no roughness or verdigris. A small pinprick over the numerator in the fraction is a good identifying mark. LDS, Breen state II, with a strong cud break at the rim under the cap (the usual die state for this variety). Our grade is VF25, same as the PCGS grade. A premium example of this popular die variety.
