1795 C-6a R2 No Pole, Thin Planchet PCGS graded VF35. Glossy medium chocolate brown and steel. The surfaces are smooth and attractive but there is a small collection of shallow contact marks at the dentils before the neck and in the opposing dentils over the first A in AMERICA. Otherwise this piece is virtually flawless. Later die state, Manley state 2.0, with a subtle bulge in the field near the dentil tips right of the Y in LIBERTY. The date and legends are all strong, and HALF CENT is bold. Weight 84.9 grains. Our grade is VF25. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 11 finer for the variety. Estimate Value $2,000 - UP
