Lot 227
1856 C-1 R2 NGC graded MS63 Red & Brown. Lustrous medium olive brown and chocolate with at least 20% of the planchet showing faded mint color. The only mark, and it is quite faint, is a small puff of slightly darker toning left of star 7. LDS, Manley state 2.0. The lump on the upright of the I in UNITED is no longer visible. Our grade is MS63. Housed in an old style NGC holder. NGC population 11; 24 finer, 21 in 64, 3 in 65. Estimate Value $300 - UP
