1856 C-1 R2 PCGS graded MS64 Brown, CAC Approved. Frosty medium steel brown and chocolate with peeps of faded mint red showing on both sides. No spots or stains, only a few trivial marks. The notable ones are two thin nicks in the field above star 12. MDS, Manley state 2.0 early. The lump on the I in UNITED is weak but still visible and the line from the leaf under ES in STATES is sharp. Our grade is MS62. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 5; 2 finer, 1 in 64+, 1 in 65 for the variety. Estimate Value $400 - UP
