1856 C-1 R2 PCGS graded MS65 Brown, CAC Approved. Uniform medium steel brown and light chocolate. The only mark is a small puff of reddish brown toning at the ribbon loop under the E in CENT. The surfaces are covered with a thin layer of natural oxidation that hides the underlying luster. EDS, Manley state 1.0. The tiny dash off the right top of the 6 is sharp and a clearly defined lump shows on the upright of the I in UNITED. There is no die line at the leaf under ES in STATES. A scarce die state. Our grade is MS62. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; none finer for the variety. Estimate Value $600 - UP
