1854 C-1 R1+ PCGS graded MS65 Brown, CAC Approved. Very attractive lustrous medium steel brown with subtle overtones of light bluish steel in the protected areas. A few tiny peeps of faded mint color can be found on the lower part of the reverse. No spots or stains, and the best identifying mark is a tiny, barely visible scuff under the end of the wreath ribbon. Sharply struck M-LDS, Manley state 2.0 early. The dash left of the base of the 1 is still visible and a shallow lump is visible on the upright of the I in UNITED. Our grade is MS63+, close to MS64. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 1 finer in 66 for the variety. Estimate Value $700 - UP
