1795 C-3 R5+ Punctuated Date, Plain Edge PCGS graded VF25. Rather frosty medium brown and light chocolate blended with a few small spots of lighter tan toning including one on the 9 in the date and several more on the upper right part of the reverse. The planchet is smooth except for a few microscopic planchet flakes, as struck. The notable ones are in the field off the end of the pole and at the opposing area around OF. The only notable contact mark is a dull dent at RI in AMERICA. Extremely rare EDS, Manley state 1.0, with HALF CENT complete. This is the Manley plate coin for the variety and die state 1.0 in his 1998 reference on the half cent series. Near the end of the condition census for the variety, regardless of the die state. Weight 87.0 grains. Our grade is F15. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 2 finer, 1 in 35, 1 in 50 for the variety.
