1851 C-1 R1 Second 1 Repunched PCGS graded MS65 Brown, CAC Approved. Very attractive frosty light bluish steel and olive with faded mint color covering 10-15% of both sides. Nearly flawless. The only marks are two tiny spots of darker toning at the dentil tips over the second A in AMERICA. Nicely struck except for weakness on the E in LIBERTY. MDS. The fields are satiny and the repunching right of the second 1 is clear. A half cent with outstanding eye appeal. Our grade is MS64. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 1 finer in 66 for the variety. Estimate Value $700 - UP
