Thessaly, Larissa. Silver Drachm (6.07 g), ca. 380-365 BC. Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly left, hair bound with ampyx and grain ears. Reverse: ΛAP[I/Σ]AIΩN, mare and foal standing right. Lorber & Shahar series 6, type B; cf. BCD Thessaly I 1153 (no grain ears); cf. BCD Thessaly II 297 (arrangement of ethnic). Delicately toned. Choice Very Fine. Estimate Value $500 - 600
