1849 C-1 R2- PCGS graded MS64 Brown. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate blending to medium chocolate in protected areas. The fields on both sides are smooth and slightly reflective, and the eye appeal of this half cent is very nice. The only notable marks are a tiny diagonal nick off the upper right point of star 1 and a couple more over the N in CENT. EDS, Manley state 1.0 early. The die lines at NI in UNITED are sharp and a fine die line reaches from the dentils down through the E in STATES. Our grade is MS62. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 6; 3 finer in 65 for the variety. Estimate Value $700 - UP
