Lot 1712

1852. PCGS graded MS-61. Quite frosty and attractive. Not many of these early double eagles survived in mint state given the paltry population numbers. However, the vast majority that were struck circulated, and those that did survive are generally in the VF to AU grade range. For the collector who appreciates eye appeal and quality, here is a lustrous coin to consider. Pop 48; 54 finer at PCGS. (PCGS # 8906) Estimate Value $6,000 - 6,500

Realized $6,169
