1809 C-6 R1 EF40. Sharpness close to mint state but this piece was lightly cleaned and retoned an attractive glossy light olive with peeps of faded reddish steel in a few of the protected areas on both sides. No spots or stains, but there are some small contact marks. The notable ones a couple dozen tiny pinpricks on the lower half of the obverse and a few more around the E in CENT. M-LDS, Manley state 5.0. A tiny rim cud extends inside the dentil tips above the back of the head and the legend outside the wreath is weakening due to die wear. The reverse is rotated 55 degrees clockwise. Estimate Value $200 - UP
