HIB &c PRO, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms of the Protectorate, date above, PAX QVÆRITVR BELLO (Bull 254; ESC 1005; S 3228; KM A207). Toned, in PCGS holder graded EF 45. PCGS certification 34313125. The abbreviated Latin legends translate as "Oliver by the Grace of God, Protector of the Republic of England, Scotland and Ireland," and on the reverse "Peace is sought by war."
