King on horseback left with upright sword and flowing scarf, more spirited horse, plume of feathers without bands behind, Latin legend and beaded borders surrounding both sides, initial mark book.CAROLVS. Toned, slightly double struck, weakly struck on King and corresponding part of reverse with striations, otherwise a bold very fine, in PCGS holder (not a groat) graded VF 30, rare.
