Original Laurence Foss, Acclaimed Arts and Crafts Designer, Sterling Silver Choker/Necklace. One of the most celebrated jewelry designers of the arts and crafts period of the early 1950s, who also designed in the late 1940s for Georg Jensen, Laurence Foss jewelry is some of the most collected of the period. This choker/necklace is comprised of 12 trapezoidal links, each with Foss's raised double tulip design with rounding stems and joined to the others by thick silver loops. Choker is 15½ in length, stamped on verso sterling (Foss inventory number 313), Foss's jeweler's mark L/F inside shield, weighs 75 grams and is in superior condition. Wonderful piece.
