Exquisite craftsmanship can be seen in this most unusual 14K yellow gold, carved opal cameo brooch with diamonds and sapphires. Opal is carved with a profile of a woman carved in classic style. Opal measures an impressive 36 x 25mm and is framed in 14K yellow gold filigree accented with 5 marquis cut diamonds and 9 very small round diamond accents with (the tenth missing hardly noticeable) for a total carat weight of one carat, quality SI1-SI2 H color. 11 pear shaped sapphires in various sizes totaling approximately 9 carats and 4 marquis shaped opals complete this elegant piece. Brooch measures 2¾ x 2", weighs 33 grams and is in excellent condition. Estimate $2,500 - UP
