This is an extra large Gerz lidded beer stein boasting in high relief men and women celebrating love and life with the German saying at the top "Bei Tanz und Scherz bleibt froh das Herz" which translates to "Dancing and jesting your heart is merry". This 4 Liter stein is stamped Gerz and "4L" and is absolutely spectacular. It stands 22 x 7 x 7" and is in perfect condition beautifully hand painted ceramic stoneware.
