R.M.S. Queen Mary Memorabilia. The Queen Mary was launched in 1934 and was retired in 1967. This lot includes: a 4 1/8" cross link of chain from the Queen Mary's anchor chain; a Budenberg gauge by Broadheath, Manchester, set with a pen, with plaque; a plank nut from the Queen Mary, with plaque; a bronze medal, 2¼" in diameter, commemorating her Maiden Voyage in 1936 and her arrival in Long Beach, California in 1967, as well as her war service, 1940-46; a biographical study entitled, "From the Cradle to the Sea," issued on the occasion of her maiden voyage, with portrait of Edward VIII; a framed list of first class passengers on the Sept. 22, 1967 voyage from New York to Cherbourg and Southampton; an envelope to Master Thomas Seedorff New Jersey, cancelled in London in 1936, framed with a color "Farewell" image of the ship.
