Dallin, Cyrus E. "Chief Washakie" (1861 - 1944) A sculptor of Indian figures and portraits, Cyrus Dallin created magnificent works in both oils and bronzes of Indians having heroic character, noble stature and dignity. His sculpture, "Chief Washakie" embodies all of these elements. An edition of 9 were originally created and this piece was displayed proudly at the entrance of Jackie and Gene Autry's residence on a brick base. Bronze has a deep rich patina and truly impresses, measures 40 x 43 x 10" and is in superior condition. This is fine, larger piece and can be placed out of doors as it was displayed at th Autry residence
