He is a self-taught painter of landscapes, traditional Great Plains scenes with Indian encampments, ranches and panoramic views. His works are celebrated for their astonishing detail and photo realism. "Mauve Sky" an original oil on canvas, captures perfectly his talent. Here an Indian encampment set at dusk stuns in the softness of the light, the water's reflections, the details of the landscape and a view of American Indian life long sense past.
