Eubanks, Tony "Broken Wall" (1939 -) Born in Dallas Texas, Tony Eubanks now lives on a country farm in Grapevine, Texas. He took art training at Texas Tech University, North Texas University and the Art Center in Los Angeles and is now noted for the diversity of his subject matter - western paintings, landscapes, seascapes. "Broken Wall" has to be one of Eubanks more delicate works as his subjects are frequently cowboys. In this original oil on canvas a woman in a prairie skirt carrying a straw hat reaches for an old wooden bucket, wind swept hair tied back with magnificent countryside behind her. Soft and serene and all together lovely. Painting measures 30 x 26" framed and matted in distressed wood and gilt. Estimate $1,500 - UP
From the collection of Jackie and Gene Autry.

Realized $1,110
