Lot 250

Crandall, Vivi K. "Puppy Folly" (1946-2000) Vivi K. Crandall painted in Wyoming and Germany and was known for wildlife and landscapes. However we are pleased to be offering a wonderful oil on canvas work that is far more playful. A puppy frolics in an open field scaring up two pheasants and having the time of her life. Painting has Crandall's usual blur of movement and interesting lighting. Adding immeasurably, she is having fun with the 22 x 22 " square painting intentionally conceived to hang at 45 degrees creating a diamond effect. Painting is custom matted and framed in gilt wood to 28 x 28". Estimate $800 - 1,200
From the collection of Jackie and Gene Autry.

Realized $480
