Lot 779

1895-S. PCGS graded MS-62. Boldly struck with reflective surfaces. Almost looks like a specimen strike with crisp details on all the devices and a mirror quality to the fields. Certainly an early strike from the dies of this popular and scarce date. Rarely are these found in full Mint State, and the toning is gorgeous with deep lilac, gold and greenish iridescence. The lovely old time toning covers both sides. This is a memorable example of this issue (PCGS # 7238) Estimate Value $4,000 - 4,400

Realized $4,700
