1856. PCGS graded Proof 25. Even wear and classic tan to brown toning on both sides. These were sold to the public and most were retained in high grade but some slipped into circulation, such as the present coin. Always in feverish demand as the key date to the Flying Eagle cent series and a coin which few collectors are lucky enough to obtain. A popular key date.
