Otho. Silver denarius (3.53 g), AD 69. Rome. IMP OTHO CAESAR AVG TR P, bare head of Otho right. Reverse: PAX ORBIS TERRAR[VM], Pax standing facing, head left, holding olive-branch and caduceus. Cf. RIC I 5 (aureus); BN -; BMC -; RSC 4a (this coin illus.). Very Rare, and the Roman Silver Coins plate coin. Traces of original luster still present beneath the natural antique toning. NGC grade AU; Strike: 4/5, Surface: 5/5. Fine style, porosity. Estimate Value $8,000 - 9,000
