1907. High relief. NGC graded Proof 63. Well struck and fully untoned with the expected extremely bold devices and full satin fields. The strike(s) are amazing with incredible detail and definition. This is a graet rarity in the Proof format, only a modest number have been certified as Proofs of this early and amazing issue. The Proofs were struck early on the issue with multiple strikes required to bring up the devices fully. These proofs are somewhat controversial, but NGC has certified a number of them, all struck with fuller definition and are well preserved. Only 12,367 struck and this one is memorable.
