Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 100

Lot 1330

1892-CC. PCGS graded MS-62. PQ. Lovely golden toning over lustrous surface. The fields and devices show full luster and are attractive as they lack the deep or detracting marks that are so often found on these Carson City double eagles. Although the mintage was more than many Carson City coins, there's not a lot of mint state surviors, so if you have been seeking a pleasing example, look no further than the present coin. Semi reflective fields. Only 27,265 struck. Pop 51; 7 finer, 2 in 62+, 5 in 63. (PCGS # 9020) Estimate Value $25,000 - UP
