Lot 758

1920-S Liberty Walking Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-66 Pittman. One of the finest seen of this rare date, note the strong strike on Liberty, including her hand and head which normally show less definition than seen here. Toned with delicate flecks of gold color streaked across the obverse and similar on the reverse. Examination notes a few widely scattered tick marks from handling, but the fields and devices are far better than average. NGC has graded 7 this high, with a single coin graded higher.
Estimated Value $8,000 - 11,000.
From the John J. Pittman collection.

Realized $8,625
