1866 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. With motto. PCGS graded Proof 65. Deep gunmetal blue and gray toning on both sides and perfectly struck, with needle sharpness on the stars and Liberty. This is the first year of issue with the reverse motto, and few are found in full gem condition today. This is the exception. The coin has excellent color and surfaces, although we do note trivial hairlines. PCGS has graded just 10 this high, with a single coin graded higher, so don't expect to locate a better one! Bid accordingly.
