Lot 568

1861 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. NGC graded MS-67. Presenting a wonder coin for your bidding pleasure! The surfaces are immaculate on the obverse, with only the faintest drift lines visible, and on the reverse a couple of very small ticks can be seen in the open fields above the eagle. What sets this coin apart is the magnificent rich toning that enhances the design. Deep blues and reds combine to set off the devices from the fields, and mint luster still shines forth from the fields beneath the colors. One of the finest graded by either service, with only 4 graded this high by NGC and 2 more by PCGS, neither has graded any higher. The strike is sharp and bold, and most of the stars show their radial lines. A coin not to be missed, so bid accordingly.
Estimated Value $6,000 - 7,000.

Realized $7,188
