1815 Capped Bust Quarter Dollar. . B-1. NGC graded MS-66. A magnificent coin that is a no nonsense gem at a glance, with stunning royal gold toning fading to darker blue at the rims. Bright luster in the fields, and free of all but the most trivial hairlines. Deeper shades on the reverse, with blazing sunset shades at the centers, and deep regal blues at the edges. One rim tap above the IC of AMERICA is noted for accuracy. Only 4 graded this high by NGC, and one other this high by PCGS, with a single coin graded higher by both services. Therefore, this is certainly one of the finest known of the date, and no doubt one of the most beautiful too. Bid accordingly.
